this ritual. They also worshiped light

part of Christmas celebrations. Christmas
wreaths are the flower arrangements
consisting of a circular band. These
are decorated with five candles. Mostly
violet and white colored candles are
used for the decoration of Christmas
wreaths. People place the wreaths
at the main entrance of their houses.
These candles are lighted every day
at home before the evening meal. The
ritual is followed till 25th of December.
A short prayer accompanies the lighting
of the candles. This ritual takes
place on Christmas evening. It marks
the birth of lord Jesus.
