Baked Rice Broccoli (Vegetarian recipe)
Ingredients
Velveeta cheese
Chopped frozen broccoli thawed and uncooked
Chopped onion
Cream of mushroom soup
Chopped celery
Butter
Cooked rice
Water chestnuts; drained and chopped
Procedure: This is a very tasty and sumptuous dish served particularly on Easter day. Prepare this and give your guests a treat! For making this follow three-step process and the Easter meal is ready for all hungry bunnies! In a skillet, melt the butter and sauté chopped onions until light brown and add celery. Toss for sometime. Then in another large bowl, take the cooked rice and mix onion, celery, broccoli, water chestnuts, soup and cheese and bake it in a pre-heated oven while covering it with foil paper for about 25-30 minutes. Serve hot!
Greek Lamb for Easter
Ingredients
- Leg of boneless lamb
- Chopped Dill (herb)
- Red wine vinegar
- Olive oil
- Minced garlic
- Chopped parsley
- Oregano and black pepper to taste
Procedure: In a small bowl, mix minced garlic, parsley, dill and oregano well with olive oil and vinegar. Take the butterflied lamb and pepper it on both sides. Then, marinate it with the preparation or the mixture as mentioned above. Keep it for a day. However, if you are running short of time you can just keep it for 2 hours. Then, next day take this seasoned lamb and cook it in a pan for say about 40-45 minutes or simply bake it in a pre-heated oven. Your lamb is ready to be devoured.
