Festival,the word creates a great cheer in mind as people enjoy it with their family and relatives. Eid is such a festival which is celebrated allover the world by Muslims. They celebrate the Eid by fasting one month. They only eat after the sunset and before the sunrise. Charity,sacrifice, faith and prayer are the main things to do in that period. For Muslims Eid is a pious festival. So they maintain all the rituals of it .Eid or Eid-ul-Fitr was first celebrated by Muhammad in 624 CE. From then the two branches of Muslims,Shi'a and Sunni celebrate the festival annually. The month is also called as Ramadan.It is calculated by the lunar calender. In most of the countries Muslims take Savayya (toasted vermicelli noodles) in the morning after fasting .On the day of celebration Muslims awake early in the morning to pray the God,then they take a little food. After that they attain the prayer at the Mosque and after Sermon or Khutba(a moralistic rebuke) they recite Takbir. Then they visit their relatives to share joy and to thank God. They also share new dress to the relatives in the month of Ramadan.

of Ramadan. The last day of Ramadan
is important as it is the end of fasting
so they wait for the full Moon. Then
they share brotherhood,unity,peace
of mind and forgiveness with each
other.
