Diwali lights are the main attractions of Diwali festival. That is why Diwali is known as the festival of lights. Diwali is celebrated on the fifteenth day of the Hindu month of Kartik, that is, October or November. Diwali lights are a very important part of Diwali celebrations. On this auspicious day, people light candles and diyas to break the darkness of the night. The northern part of India lights candles to celebrate the return of Lord Ram whereas in south the day commemorates victory of Goddess Durga over demon Narakasura. Lights on Diwali bring elegance to the day, as the day is very auspicious for the Hindu community. Wide varieties of options are available for Diwali lights.
