The Galway Race festival is organized on the fringes of the Galway city in Western Ireland. This racing festival is very popular in many parts of the world. Summer Festival Meeting: The summer festival racing at the Galway Races provides an exciting ambiance to all the individuals present here. Many celebrities are seen here sipping champagne as the horses' race it out on the courses at an incredible pace. The summer festival at the Galway Races is of seven days duration. It usually starts in the last Monday of the month of July.
Autumn Festival Meeting: Yet another horse racing festival, the Autumn Festival Meeting has been a grand success over the years mainly due to the state of art racing environment and ambience available at this venue. This festival provides one with a real time value for money. This festival is usually of three days duration starting tentatively on 9th of September and terminating on the 11th.
October Festival Meeting: The October Festival meeting is usually of two days duration. This October meeting has always been in the news for excellent racing and entertainment facilities. This racing event is usually scheduled for two consecutive days. The second day of this racing event is referred to as the Family Day. Usually on this day, a special pavilion is created for the children decorated with varied paraphernalia
The horse racing at all these three meetings is of world class, needless to say that that are worth spending into. Generally, sporting activities are popular among people of all age groups. This makes the Galway Race Festival of Ireland popular amongst all sections of the society.
