Switzerland is a festival of celebrations.
Except August 1 of each year, the
day of the founding of Swiss Confederation,
the festival is held throughout the
year. Each region has its own individual
costumes, which have been used traditionally
from father to son and mother to daughter.
So each region has uniqueness in the
observance of the festivities.
The Swiss Confederation has 22 cantons
or regions. Out of them popularly
known regions are Appenzell, Basel
and Unterwalden. The popularly known
