Valentine's Day is the most popular day celebrated all over the world. It is important to share your feelings and emotions with your beloved. On Valentine's Day is the day when you can share all these emotions.

There is a myth related to the history of Valentine's Day . St.Valentine was a priest of Rome in 3rd century. In that period Rome was ruled by emperor ClaudiusII and he ordered people to stay unmarried. But people did not agree with the law. It was St.Valentine who generated the idea of love among the people. So the emperor ordered to kill St.Valentine.

There are more stories about Valentine Day History. It is told that, St.Valentine might have been killed as he was trying to help Christian prisoners in their process of escaping.


History also reveals that, St.Valentine was the first man to write a Valentine letter addressing 'From your Valentine' and he had a relation of love with the young daughter of the prison guard, while he was in the prison.

On the February 14,in 269 AD a man was killed for refusing to give up Christianity. From that day onwards it is marked as Valentine's Day. These are some myths related to the Valentine Day History.
